What Causes Recurrent Diarrhea Inspite Of Taking Imodium?

I have had diarrhea for last 24 hours Imodium slowed it down but after I had taken maximum dose for 24 hrs it s back again what can I do all I have eaten was a few saltine crackers and a few peanut butter and crackers ginger ale and Sprite it all went straight through me any suggestions

I really appreciate your concern, most of the diarrhea are self limiting and may not need any treatment but of course hydration need to be taken care, medicine that you have taken may not be good for health and it need to be avoided may cause the paralytic ileus hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
