What Causes Recurrent Dizziness And Fluctuations In BP Level?

I have been very dizzy and have episodes of vertigo for about a week now. I m just getting over a URI and my blood pressure goes up and down when I feel like this. I also have diabetes and my numbers have been from 43 to 210 when I m like this. Then I feel weak and tired afterwards.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurrent dizziness and fluctuations in BP level . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like blood vessel defects, adrenal gland abnormality , dehydration or heart disease . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ECG, TMT along with complete blood profile and echo . Doctor may prescribe anti emetic drug , antidepressants , may refer you to endocrinologist or prescribe medications fludrocortisone . Doctor may also order angiography and may refer you to ENT specialist for ear problem .
