Hello,

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, the effect of the antibiotic depends on both the sensitivity of the germ (many just are not affected by a particular antibiotic. Happens).

And the ability to physically clear out the infection. Bladders are cleared out fast. Prostates are cleared out very slowly (weeks).

If that is HIV testing, the later generation tests for both the virus and the body's immune reaction to the virus.

If there is a lot of immune reaction, then the virus is hard to find. If the immune response is zero then the virus will be a lot.

Both need to be tested. BUT if both are tested, then the likelihood of missing the virus with One Test and One month is far far less than the likelihood of someone lying about what the test showed or whether they got infected after the test was done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
