What Causes Recurrent Fever Despite Giving Trucop And Azee Syrup To An Infant?
Hello doctor, from yesterday night, my 10 month old baby boy has a little bit temperature. In thermometre its showing 97 degree. He has breething sound also. Today morning i gave trucof-PD =3ml , flucold 165= 1 ml and Indominic-P drops 0.25ml. Before 1 month he was hospitalized because of vyral fever. After discharge also he was not completely recovered. So i change doctor and new doctor suggest ; Syp trucof-PD =2.5/3 times for 3 days indominic -p drops Azee 100 dry syp. After 3 days i stop these medicines and again after 6 days yesterday he got 97 degree temperature. Kindly give helpfl reply doctor. What r the medicines i can continue

Based on the history you have shared, your child is having a recurrent fever so before starting any other medication or antibiotics get the blood tests like complete blood count and blood cultures done. consult your pediatrician as soon as possible. Also, check the baby’s vaccinations.
