What Causes Recurrent Fever Inspite Of Taking Amoxicillin And Recofast?
I am suffering from acute cough and mild fever for last 5 days. before that i used to get allergic as soon as i am in contact with dust, change of weather causing running nose and continuous snizzing. my doctor suggested to take Amoxillin and recofast and a cough syrup. but fever is continuing. as per patho report- optimal test is negative, in WIDAL test S.Typhi 'O' found positive(upto 1/80 dil.only). in the Urine routine test pH-7.5, Albumin- A trace, Leucocytes- found (1-2)/hpf, Epithelial Cells- Found a few only. Kindly suggest.
Hi, i do care for your concern. adding a paracetamol would help to reduce the temperature. continuing full course of medicine would add to recovery. Your widal and urine test nothing to suggest of infection, so need not panic. In mean time have lukewarm water and avoid cold foods which would add to help. avoiding exposure to allergens and drugs like mast cell stabilizers would help in a long run. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
