What Causes Recurrent Headaches, Chills And Fever?
A physical therapist suggested to my 19 year old daughter that a bruise on her leg, which she didn t recall getting and has lasted for several weeks and her reoccurring symptoms of headache, chills, fever, body aches could be the sign of something more serious. Are the tow possibly related?

Hello,
A complete blood count has to be done to see for any infection. Also, urine analysis has to be done to see for urinary infection which is a common cause of fever with chills in females. Apart from these tests for malaria, typhoid (Widal), dengue, Lepto etcetera can be done to rule out other causes. Leg bruise can cause fever with chills if it forms a local abscess or cellulitis. Consult your doctor and get evaluated.
