Tinnitus isn't a condition itself but it's a symptom of an underlying condition, such as age-related hearing loss, ear injury or a circulatory system disorder. Sometimes tinnitus along with head ache also represent conditions like acoustic neuroma and meniere's disease . Simple reasons like stress and anxiety can also cause tinnitus and headaches . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to find out exact cause . Doctor may order certain tests like audiological test , rushing test , high and low pitched test . Doctor may prescribe tricyclic antidepressants , alprazolam and devices like hearing aids and masking devices . Meditation will help alot .
