Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query recurrent high fever in a child despite taking antibiotics is due to poor immunity of body an due to lung infection/ upper respiratory tract infection. You should take anti inflammatory medication such as Levocetrizine. Take capol for fever every 4 hourly. You should start with antibiotic such as amoxiclov along with nasal and chest decongestants for 5- 7 days. For now do warm saline gargles. Take steam inhalation. Take proper rest , keep yourself hydrate. Maintain hygiene. Take multivitamins rich in vitamin B12 to booster immunity of child. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination as infection has already spread. You should get throat swab test , viral culture test , complete blood profile to find out extent of infection.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
