What Causes Recurrent Itchiness In The Labia Region?

Hi, I have had frequent on/off itching in my vulva/labia region for the last 3 months. I m 18 years old and sexually active. I know it is not a yeast infection, UTI, bacterial vaginosis or an STI. I also use non-latex condoms or sometimes no condoms during sex. I also haven t shaved down there in a while so I doubt this is the cause. I only wash with mild soap and don t have any other symptoms such as abnormal discharge, bad odour, soreness or dryness. What could this be? Please help!!

Hello,

There are few options since you already rule out most of the causes; it can be:

1. allergic reaction to sperm (you can check by using a condom)

2. it can be a parasitic infection

3. you may be sensitive to soap or deo or any particular food. After ruling out the fungal infection from a lab, you can go for a general allergy test.
