What Causes Recurrent Pain Under The Breast And Chest?

My wife is having occasional pain (not constant) under her breasts and towards the middle of her chest in the same general area. Yesterday, the pain started shorly after eating breakfast. She went to a clinic today and they told her in kind of sounded like a gall bladder issue. They are currently scheduling a gall bladder test. Does this sound reasonable?

Hello, Thanks for the query. From your description exact location of pain is not very clear. However, if the origin or location in the epigastric as well as hypochondriac region on right side. It may radiate to right shoulder also. Therefore, it is possible in the opinion of the doctor (who was consulted), the said pain may belonging to gall bladder problem. So it is better to get necessary investigations done. Thanks
