What Causes Recurrent Seizures?

I have a 45 year old daughter that has had seizures most of her life. When she was 17 she had her first grandmal seizure. She was severly hypersentive to every medication that put her on. After several attempts, her neurologist decided she was not a candidate for medications. For the next 7 or 8 years, she only had 4 or 5 grandmal seizures a year. At about age 25 grand mal seizures stopped. After almost 10 they reappeared. Still only having 4 or 5 a year. Until 2012-2013 they increased to 20 grandmals a year. Then in 2015, she had 86 grandmals. She is no longer able to work because of how this is affecting her. She has other symptoms also. The one factor that seems to have changed in 2012-2013 was that she had some teeth pulled and had braces put on to help straighten her teeth. Could there somehow be a connection between the increase in seizures due to the adjustments in her bite. Her dentist has told us that her jaw is misaligned. Please help!!
