What Causes Recurrent Stomach Pain Following A Fever?

hi. my name is angeline from UK. i had severe pain in my rt.hip on sun morning & i was limping around. inthe evening, i got better, but from night onwards, i had high fever & severe headache & body pain.on mon afternoon, my husband came back home from office & he developed fever and the same symptoms that i had. v took a paracetamol each and then our fever subsided, but then i got this severe pricking pain in my stomach, which used to come once in 1 hr n lasted for about 1 min & then i became normal. v got an appointment with the GP n tue morn, and she suspected it to be food poisoning, & gave me Buscopan tablets. also asked for this faeces sample. but even after takin 2 doses of that medicine, i didnt feel better, and that evening, i started getting pain every 10 mins & it became constant, which was unbearable & i was taken to hospital.
