General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a subconjuctival hemorrhage. There are many medical conditions related to this diagnosis but the most common cause is eye trauma. Another possible cause can be heavy lifting, coughing or sneezing. I suggest to use an artificial tear. No other treatment is required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
