What Causes Recurrent Symptoms 9 Years After Placing Stents?

i had stents put in in 8 0r 9 yrs. ago,now I m getting symtoms I had back in 2003 when I had 4 bypasses and 10 mos. later I had another cabbage for an anuwrisim in the back of the heart.now I m concerned that maybe there is blockage in the stent. thes drs. are not heart spec..

Hello, I really appreciate your concern. It is possible to have stent blockage after some years of use. It leads to recurrence of symptoms of myocardial infarction. So I advise you to have ECHO of heart and if possible coronary angiography and removal of blockage if any.
