General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There can be possible cause of left upper abdomen pain as:
- Residual lung infection with congestion (which may not be detectable on X-ray chest)
- Spleen enlargement or congestion through previous bacterial infection.

She requires a consultation for evaluation of breath sounds of lungs and ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis as per the need.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
