What Causes Recurrent Wounds On Back Of Thigh?

My 12 year old son got what looked like a small wound ( scab ) on the back of his thigh. It didn t hurt or itch . In the last 2 weeks it has made a path up his buttox , about 6-7 now. As soon as one heals, a new one appears . They are about the size of a bean . They don t seem to bother him . What could this be ?

Hi,

It may be folliculitis most probably. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to apply antibiotic cream like sisomycine cream. Give antibiotic like cefalexin in proper dose under supervision of doctor. Improve hygiene and immunity.

Hope this helps.
