What Causes Recurring UTI And Elevated Liver Enzymes?

Hi my mom has had 4 UTI in the last 3 months and ended up in the hospital for 5 days. They sent her home with a pill for her heart and told me she had high liver enzymes. She acts like she has alzheimers but after the MRI tell told me she did not have that. Gave me the second script for the UTI. What do you think is causes her to act like she has alzheimers?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The recurrent urinary tract infection can be related to the wrong treatment.

It is advisable doing a urine culture to find the cause of the infection and the proper sensitive antibiotic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
