I have a recurring abscess on my inner butt cheek it drains and gardens and I have been through two sets of antibiotics I have also had it drained and lanced a few months ago it stings with pressure as well and this has been recurring for a few months now
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring abscess on the inner buttocks which are red and swollen which seems to be due to inflammation of hair follicles leading to folliculitis which is a bacterial infection. It could be due to clogging of skin pores by dead bacteria and sebum. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with application of betnovate two to three times a day. You should wash maintain proper hygiene and dryness of area. Apply topical antibacterial ointment such as Mucopiorin 2%. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper examination. You can go for proper antibiotic course.
