What Causes Recurring And Radiating Left-sided Pain In Head, Back And Ear?
I ve been having left sided headache for 5 days now. It started on the front and has radiated to the back of my ear; it goes on and off, and I m afraid because I m not sure what is happening. Please HELP! The pain is ow radiating to my neck, please HELP me. I am a grad school student with no insurance and I am really SCARED!
I can understand your concern. It seems that you are suffering from ear infection that is causing pain in the forehead as referred pain.
I would advise you to take antibiotics. You can take Cefixime 200 mg (Topcef) twice a day for 5 days. For the pain, you can take over the counter available medications such as Acetaminophen 500 mg or Ibuprofen 400 mg up to thrice in a day.
However, if the pain does not subside in 5 days, you should visit a physician or an ENT specialist for clinical examination and further investigations.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
