General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Sometimes, shingles vaccination will cause shingles outbreaks in future. Unfortunately, cannot get 100% protected after getting the vaccine; even though you might have gotten the infection in the past. You are still at risk of getting the outbreaks, however, less severe than other exposures.

Sometimes, it is not well understood why this happens. However, the symptoms are not so severe.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
