What Causes Recurring Blood Drainage From The Mouth?

Husband Spitting up blood twice a day. Had endoscopy done to check stomach and esophagus. weve had him do a laryngoscopy with the ENT for throats and sinuses. Still no sign of where blood is coming from. He doesn t cough it up. It just appears. We have an appointment with the Pulmonary Dr soon. I just hate the waiting game. What else could it be?

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your husband.

There are three possibilities of blood in mouth;

1) Blood from the stomach, he must be feeling vomiting if it comes from stomach also there will be black stools (Terry black)
2).Pulmonary blood, if it is associated with cough that had you denied earlier.
3) Blood oozing out from gums. Some times we miss the basic cause which is not too much important.

These are main three causes, you can visit to the concerned specialists to get proper treatment.
