What Causes Recurring Bouts Of Coughing With Itching In Chin And Neck?

Hi there. For the past 2 weeks I suddenly get these coughing attacks. When I get these coughing attacks, my chin,neck and top of my chest get really itchy. What could this mean? This all started when I used a new adhesive while applying eyelash extensions. I stopped using the adhesive but I am still coughing every day.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring bouts of coughing with itching in chin and neck means you have symptoms of allergic bronchitis. Need not to panic much. Your both symptoms coughing and itching are characteristics for allergic disease. I would suggest you to consult pulmonologist and get done PFT ( Pulmonary Function Test ) to diagnose bronchitis. Doctor may order test like viral culture test , throat swab test and blood test to confirm the diagnosis and rule out causes. For now continue doing gargles and drink one spoon of honey mix with glass of lukewarm water. You should avoid smoking completely as it is exaggerating your symptoms.
