What Causes Recurring Cellulitis?

My arm above my elbow is swollen and kind of hard in the middle of the swelling. It is red and avout the size of a golf ball. I went to the hospital and they told me it was cellulitus and gave me antibiotics. 3 weeks later it has returned on my other arm.

Thanks for your question on HCM.

Please do a workup to asses your blood glucose,Thyroid hormones and your body mass index.
There is a possibility that the glands in your skin are getting blocked and causing small abscesses.
There are many factors that could cause this issue like uncontrolled diabetes,overweight,hypothyroidism and genetic factors also.
Advisable to keep your armpits dry,visit a doctor early to start on medications.
