What Causes Recurring Chest Pains?

Well I've been having chest pain for along time, sometimes its constant for days, sometimes it goes, sometimes it shoots into my head from my chest and up my neck, any clue as to of what this might be? I've had normal ekgs and normal halt moniter results

- muscular pain - ligament sprain or strain - neurovascular bundle
issue with radiating pain - certain forms of viral infestations as
herpes or else - psychosomatic manifestation of underlying stress
