What Causes Recurring Chills, Sweats, Headaches And Fatigue?

Iwhat have had increase arthritic pain, chills, sweats, weakness, fatigue, headach, mild sorethroat, mild cough, sinus like infection. After 2 or three weeks it seems to go away but keeps coming back. About 30 years ago I had a bulls eye bite on my back and also had scarlet fever as a child. I am in constant pain from arthritis. My hip is bone on bone and said to be osteoarthritis. What do you think could help the constant flu like symptoms. Also what would help arthritis pain. (I have high blood pressure and family heart problems).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to viral fever. Still, for further assessment, you may require complete hemogram, peripheral smear for malarial parasite, dengue ns1 after physician consultation. Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. You may require antibiotics after consultation. For headache, you can take tablet acetaminophen. Keep your self hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
