What Causes Recurring Chocking Sensation?

I gag and I have trouble to stop gagging. I have to concentrate very hard to relax to release the gag. I fear from the gag then it starts over again. I have trouble to stop it. After 3 0r 4 times this happens I begin to weaken as if I will have a nervous brake down

Do you have nausea or abdominal pain.

You could be having gastritis such causes feeling of gagging and nausea. Also after consuming any irritating food to the stomach lining this can happen.

Avoid oily, fatty, junk food. Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Keep well hydrated. Exercise regularly.

You can take over the counter antacid tablet like Pantoprazole 40mg once daily to tie I've this feeling.

Kindly show to your Doctor to get a complete physical examination and necessary investigations to find the cause and provide you the appropriate treatment for the same.
