Brief answer: GENITAL HERPES.

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain it may be Genital herpes which is characterised by clusters of small bumps over the outer surface of penis.
It is a kind of viral infection caused by Herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2)
There may be itching ,pain, burning and at times there may also be discharge from the sores.

It is sexually transmitted disease so one should take care to avoid intercourse with the partner to avoid transmission of the disease.

If you are undergoing intercourse you should ALWAYS use a condom.

The sores lasts for about 2 to 3 weeks and after that they turn into ulcers and then shed off..
They can recur but at times the severity is less in recurrent episodes..

You can get tested for the disease. The different tests includes:
Blood tests to find out the presence of HSV antibodies in blood in case of past infections.
Viral culture and sensitivity can be done from the fluid that is discharged from sores.
Polymerase chain reaction.

I would suggest you to see a doctor soon and get clinical evaluation for the problem you have and get the tests done.

If it is diagnosed as Herpes then antiviral drugs and topical application of antiviral drugs like Acyclovir can decrease the severity and duration of recurrence of the disease..

If you have been into unprotected sexual activity with your partner after the disease occured you should get her blood test done as a precautionary step.

Hope your query is solved..

Thanks and regards.
