What Causes Recurring Constipation In A Premature Baby?

dear doctor my baby was born premature.she was born 2 months early.after birth the child developed bilateral pneumothorax.she was ventilated for 20 days after birth.she also had pd and asd.after discharge she was fine but developed constipation and every time she passes urine just before passing she cries a lot her urine and culture and sensitivity report is fine what to do

Development of constipation in a pre-mature baby can be due to under-development of gastrointestinal tract. I suggest you to consult your pediatrician to assess the gastrointestinal tract of the baby.
