What Causes Recurring Cough And Cold?

hiii doc i m having cough and cold problem throuhout the year. it has been almost 3 weeks i can not hear properly through my left ear. I have cough and cold problem....when sleeping in the night i feel there is some liquid inside my left year moving ups and down... please advise
