What Causes Recurring Cough And Pain Around Shoulder Blade?

I've seen my family doctor today for same symptoms I had back in June. I have pain around the left shoulder blade, sometimes it is hard to breath and I have a cough and chills. I had a chest x-ray and an ekg and blood work. Chest x-ray and ekg is good nothing there still waiting on the blood work. Doctor says it could be pleurisy. If my family doctor cannot find what is causing the symptoms is there a specialist that would be able to provide more information?
