Hello,

Having a bowel movement or better three a day is not a sign of intestinal obstruction. You should not worry about your child having an intestinal observation.

Probably he is having an intestinal infection and he needs to do a stool culture to find the cause of the diarrhoea he is having. The treatment depends on the cause of the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
