What Causes Recurring Diarrhea, Vomiting And Profuse Sweating?

I am a healthy female most of the time. I exercise 5 times a week and normal weight (117 lbs, 5'3") Randomly I will get very sick for 5 to 20 minutes where I sweat like crazy, have diarrhea and throw up. The rest of the day I am fine; sometimes just a little more tired than usual. It happened this morning before I ate anything. I did drink a couple glasses of water and take a pill, that's meant to be taken on an empty stomach. Other times it happens shortly after I eat something. Almost always when this occurs it is in the morning.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurring diarrhea, vomiting and profuse sweating which seems to be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. It could be due to viral infection leading to gastroenteritis in body. I would suggest you not to panic at all. You should start treatment with combination of fluroquinolones and ornidazole. You should get intravenous fluid administration as well. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. You should take small and frequent meals and avoid large meals at a time. You can take banana on daily basis and light food. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate yourself. You should visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment after prescription. Avoid taking Domperidone. you should avoid taking dairy products in excess.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
