What Causes Recurring Diarrhea With Frequent Urge To Pass Stools?

Hi my name is Cleveland, in the past five days I have been experiencing diarrhea but it is to the point where even if I don t eat anything every thirty minutes more or less I get this feeling to go the bathroom. It s never really a lot and the stools have been brown to dark then back to brown and loose. I tried drinking lot of water mixed with a little salt and sometimes it did help but like today I tried and no effect really at all. I never had a problem like this before, I m wondering is there something wrong that I should definitely go get it checked out?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Acute diarrhea is most commonly due to infection, which is usually viral or bacterial.

If you eat before your intestines are ready to absorb food then it would provoke a diarrhea episode.
It is best to avoid solid food until there is a 4 hour window with no symptoms.

Using probiotics would help to decrease symptoms and speed up healing.

It is also important to make sure that you are using enough fluids so that you do not become dehydrated.

I hope this helps
