What Causes Recurring Dizziness And A Feeling Of Fainting?

I am experiencing dizziness for the last few days. It is on and off, but it feels like I m going to faint. I ve never had this kind of dizziness before. I am 54. The only environmental thing that is different is that we just had new oak hardwood flooring put in our home. But, we have been airing the home out 12 hours at a time (overnight), then about noon, we close up to turn on the air conditioner, as it is 92 outside. They used a varnish on the flooring, and you can smell it, but it is not strong any longer. It has been about 3 weeks now since they did it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As the issue is for 3 weeks, I doubt relation with floor paint or so.

There is a strong possibility of the issue at CNS level either labyrinthine system, vestibular tract or else.

Kindly get your basic check done with blood pressure and sugar levels to proceed with the future need of MRI if required and decided by the consultant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
