What Causes Recurring Dizziness With History Of Stent Implantation?

what could be causing dizziness I have experienced several times over the past 6 weeks? I take metropol as I had a mild heart attack and had 2 stents implanted 2 plus years ago. my blood pressure and lab results were just taken within past 2 weeks and they were all good and my cardiologist was pleased with how I seem to be doing.

hi
Good that your heart doctor has not found anything.Dizziness could be some side effect of some medicine one takes after heart attack and after stenting. One must keep a watch on pulse being on metoprolol, pulse should remain 50 or above. You may count it at the time of dizziness to know for sure, a slower pulse can give circulatory imbalance and dizziness. also serum K and Sodium levels be checked periodically for any electrolyte imbalance. Also watch for if pulse goes above 100 0r 120 at spells of dizziness,if does then a condition called atrial fibrillation is developing and needs consultation with heart doctor
