What Causes Recurring Dizziness With Variation In BP Levels?

my dad is 75 and occasionally he gets dizzy when laying down. I took his blood pressure right after and it was 187/113. He sat for a while until it was back to normal. He played down 10 min later and not even a min later felt dizzy and got up. BP was 162/115. He was monitored for HBP but after a week of normal readings the MD said he had it WNL. What are some differential diagnosis?

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to high blood pressure.

For that you may require dosage adjustment after physician consultation.

Take less salt in diet. Do regular blood pressure monitoring.

Hope I have answered your query and let me know if I can assist you further...

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale
