Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, about 10 months ago I experienced a whole range of things from dizziness, nausea, vomiting, headaches and high temperatures for a period of about 2 weeks straight. doctor thought I had glandular fever. my glands were enlarged but my initial blood test came back negative. he then sent me for more blood tests, this time testing my liver function levels as well. the test came back with my 2 liver categories 4 times higher than they should be. we narrowed this down to dietary issues since I don t drink a lot of alcohol often. I cleaned up my diet and stopped drinking alcohol for 4 months (until my birthday weekend). About 2 weeks ago now, my dizziness has returned by itself. its worse when I need something to eat. I m a very active person. I drink a lot of water. I m a 22 year old male who is 92kg.
After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that you need to get your liver functions again for further management and take liquids only till you see your physician.
Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
Kind Regards Dr Bhanu Partap
