Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I wake up, almost every morning, with a cough, as if I have a cold; a cough as if I need to expectorate from the lungs......(Sorry, I m not sure if I m explaining myself correctly. Hope you understand.) After a while, it goes away. No headache or cold-like symptoms other than on some days I may also have a little bit of a runny nose. Sometimes my lower back also hurts me in the mornings, but I ve had back pain for a long time, so I don t know if one thing has to do with the other. After a while, it all goes away. Why does this happen? Thank you
HI Well come to HCM If this was the history of running nose then chances of post nasal drip would be very likely and if this is the condition then the symptoms that is stated here could be likely, and this can be best managed with "Tab Loratadine and Pseudoephedrine" three times in day, some time this may take little more time to come around, hope this information helps, take care.
