What Causes Recurring Electric Shock Like Sensations In Breast?

I have a reacurring pain in my breast that feels like a electrical shock passing through it. In the last six month I have had a mammogram and a ultra sound. Nothing was found in either test. It is frustrating that I continue to experience these shock waves! If you could resolve this mystery , it would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Penny

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is good that mammogram and ultrasound are quite normal and this excludes anything related to breast cancer. The electric shock waves may be related to nerve compression. Do an X-ray or MRI of the cervical and thoracic spine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
