I live on the west coast, in California. For some unknown reason, I ve been experiencing an unusual degree of chapped lips every time I venture outside during daylight hours. The weather has been unusually warm and dry this winter. I use a 30 spf lip baum, an equivalent sunscreen when playing golf, but seem to develop a severe chap especially on my skin directly above, and around my lips. It is by far the worst I have experienced so far, and it has persisted off an on for two months. Is this something I should have looked at? My coworker, whom is in my same age range, has also been suffering the same symptoms. We both are male and are Type II Diabetics.
