What Causes Recurring Episodes Of Facial Numbness?

Hi, I am experiencing numbness that comes and goes in my face. it starts with my nose and has gone on the left side of my face and then up over my ear. now it is going to the right side. My left big toe and my left hand sometimes is numb as well. I have no tolerance for cold,
The numbness is not there all the times, it comes and goes. I don't know if it is black mold, brain tumor, blood sugar, diabetes , blocked nerves
Can you please help me. I am not even sure what type of doctor to go see.

Hi dear ,

As per your query you have numbness in left side of your face that come and go along with numbness in toe han hand . The most probable reasons for symptoms you mention in query is nerve dysfunction . There is cindition known as bell's palsy ,which occur due to facial nerve dysfunction . Ulnar nerve compression can also make hand numb . So no need to panic and consult a neurologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order certain test to rule out condition like carpal tunnel syndrome , cervical spondolysis , poor blood supply and diabetic neuropathy . Doctor may prescribe drugs according to diagnosis . For now do exercise of facial and hand muscles and their stretching exercises .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
