What Causes Recurring Extreme Pain In Lower Back And Lower Abdomen?

I had a pain in the lower right back area. Pretty strong. Lasted about 3 minutes. Next day felt fine. The next day I had a pain in the lower right area of my abdomen. Not terrible. Ibuprofen and a heating pad took care of it. During these episodes, my urine has had a pink tint to it. Could this be kidney stones or something to do with going through menopause?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear. there are many possibilities. but need to rule out most common ones. Get your urine tested. It can be urinary tract infection also. In that case with plenty of fluids and antibiotics your symptoms will get resolved. If the pain is coming often, better to get an Ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis to rule out kidney stones.

If all these tests are normal probably it may be just a muscle sprain.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
