What Causes Recurring Feeling Of Tightness Around Throat?

i have a tight throat, feels around the top of the voice box on the sides, almost like swelling (no actual swelling though). this comes and goes (has for years). First I thought it might be seasonal (allergies?), but I haven t noticed a set pattern. it doesnt hurt, no sore throat, just the tightness feeling. I m 41, weigh 88kgs. 5 ft 8 and in pretty good health overall (dont drink, dont smoke).

I really appreciate your concern, this is typical symptoms of GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) in my opinion this can be well managed with, "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg " once in day at evening time for five weeks, this may not be due to allergic condition, hope this information helps, take care.
