Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. Please find my advice below- 1)Your child may experience fever, soreness, and some swelling and redness in the area where the shot was given. Depending on your child's age, pain and fever may be treated with paracetamol 60 mg only if required 8 hours after second dose then stop. 2)Keep breast feeding as usual as little fever after post vaccination is good for child 3)A warm, damp cloth or a heating pad also can help reduce soreness. Moving or using the limb that has received the injection often reduces the soreness. I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks,
