What Causes Recurring Fever In A Child Despite Using Flexon?

Hi my daughter is six year old and suffering from fever for last 4 days doctor advised for cepodem 100dt and flexon and after giving these dose she is very well but from today she is again suffering from fever. I want your advice regarding this matter

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter is having symptoms of recurring fever despite giving Flexon which is due to impaired and reduced immunity of body and presence of infection in body either viral or bacterial origin.

Need not to worry about it. Visit pediatrician once and get it examined to find out the cause of fever after thorough investigation as doctor may prescribe lab tests such as blood tests which may be required and start treatment as per that. You should get stool culture done as well. Give child diet diet rich in fruits and multivitamins. Give Crocin as well every 4-6 hrly. If fever is of high intensity apply wet sponge on head to lower down fever.
