DEAR, thanks for writing to HCM. the most common cause for fever in children is upper respiratory tract infection which can occur very commonly. frequent fever along with cough and cold are the symptoms. for temperature u need to give paracetamol syrup in tds dose , dolan tab. contains doxycycline which is generally not prescribed in infants, in place of that you can use cefadroxyl syrup or cefixime syrup. if fever does not subside within 3-5 days, i recommend you to go for a blood check up and a pediatrician consultation. thanks write back for follow up.
