What Causes Recurring Fluid Filled Painful Bump On Labia Majora?

From time to time I get a bump on my labia majora that hurts when I push on it. They normally last for a few weeks and then go away for months. I ve had a few of them over the past few years. Sometimes they open up slightly and ooze a small amount of pus. I put some caladryl gel on it which seems to help it dry up faster. I am a virgin so there is no way of this being some sort of STI, but I have no idea how to prevent them. Also, I am on accutane and have a few other side effects from it that affect my skin, so that may have something to do with it. Any idea what these are and how to prevent them? Thanks!

Regards,
It sounds like you have a recurring Bartholins gland cyst. The next time it flares up it would be good to see your doctor. Sometimes they have to remove it to get it to stop flaring good
