Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurring folliculitis on legs and arms despite taking antibiotics which is a common skin condition in which hair follicles become inflamed which is usually caused by a bacterial or fungal infection. It occurs mainly due to friction and other reasons are heat, sweat and dermatitis. You need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep that area dry , wear loose cloths. You should apply a warm, moist washcloth or compress and apply soothing lotions. Take diet rich in fluids. Consult dermatologist for proper examination. You should gently wash the infected skin twice a day with antibacterial soap. Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or antifungal medicine along with procedure like laser hair removal and light therapy .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
