Hello and welcome to HCM.
Presence of foul smelling vaginal discharge is suggestive of infection in the genital tract.
Examination of the vaginal discharge is necessary to look for evidence of infection and to identify the infectious agent.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your gynaecologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigation.
A high vaginal swab is required to look for cause of infection.
The examination of vaginal discharge has to be followed by drug sensitivity to select most appropriate antibiotic effective against the infectious agent.
Avoid unprotected sex till the time infection and hence the discharge is cleared.
Unprotected sex can transmit the infection to your partner thus practise protected sex till infection clears away.

Thanks and take care
