What Causes Recurring Fungal Infection On Skin And Scalp?

I have a fungus that grows on my skin that I treat now and then with cream. Recently, I have had a real hyper sensitivity to my skin and hair, and the cream seems to help the itching, but I m wondering if anything else might be going on. It is really bothering me! What might be causing this and how can I rid myself of it?? Thanks you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a fungal infection. I suggest using an anti fungal cream such as Clotrimazole cream for local application. I also suggest to Fluconazole 150 mg tablet. I recommend using Cetirizine 10 mg to relieve the itching.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
